We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Full time Barista/All Rounder to join our team at Kimbo Coffee. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee/food and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, ensuring food safety, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. You will play a key role in the daily operations of our café, contributing to a positive experience for all who visit.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the work area
- Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, ensuring freshness and quality
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; communicate needs to management
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions with basic math skills
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality
- Keep the café environment clean and organised, including seating areas
Requirements
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous
- Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A friendly disposition with strong communication skills
